AIA Console opening but not working properly

I have installed FP 11.1.1.6.0 on top of soa suite 11.1.1.6.0. Both installaions were successfull.

When i try to open the AIA console "http://hostname:8001/AIA" the home page also opens.

The top most links of Accessibility About AIA and Logout work perfectly.

But the moment I click on any of the three Go buttons (under Project lifecycle work bench, composite app validation system or Setup) the corresponding page opens but then the complete page become un-responsive. The respective tabs are there but nothing happens on clicking them. All I get is a blank page with the tabs only. Moreover at this stage the top most links of Accessibility About AIA and Logout also stop working (nothing happens on clicking them).

I also discovered on thing that at the un-responsive stage if I open any link in new tab or window, again the home page opens with the top most links of Accessibility About AIA and Logout working perfectly.
