Agile Scrum Java Desktop Application Testing Methods
I am curious as to what other QA teams, Developers or other stakeholders are doing in terms of testing methodologies with Agile Scrum Development of a Java Desktop Application. What tools are you using? What processes and documentation of such processes do you use that have a positive return on invested time(worth your while and don't impede productivity). Have you had problems automating with Rational Test Software? If so any tips? Any alternative Test Automation Software? Open Source? The end game is less bugs going to the end user. How do you control/mitigate this? How do you deal with different hardware configurations of clients causing problems with your application? How do you mitigate this?
