Aggregation Operators applicable for compressed cube dimensions in AWM 10g

643970Jul 16 2008 — edited Jul 22 2008
hi,
Iam using AWM 10.2.0.3 A version. I created an uncompressed cube with one of the dimensions(called VB_CUSTOMER2), aggregation operator as WSUM and based on a measure value(VIS_CUBE.W.MEASURE). It worked for me.i could load and view correct data.

But, when i tried to create a compressed cube (name is COMPRESSED) with WSUM for the same dimension and based on same measure, it failed with the following error :

An error occurred creating Measure COMPRESSED.MEAS.MEASURE : ***Error Occured: Can not Create Measure COMPRESSED.MEAS.MEASURE. Aggregation Definition COMPRESSED.OBJ716963096.AGGREGATIONDEFINITION is Invalid. Error Creating a Relation for VB_CUSTOMER2.DIMENSION Dimension. AW Object for VIS_CUBE.W.MEASURE does not Esist.

Is there any limitation with the aggregation operators that cane be used for a dimension in compressed cube or the error is somewhere else ?

Thanks
Chakri
