Agent unreachable (Unrecognized Windows Sockets error: 0: JVM_Bind)
Hello!
On the 2nd of January our OEM backup job started to fail (Step: backup ended with Initialization error - output log says Read timed out).
So I deleted the job and tried to create new one, but when I clicked the Schedule customized backup button, nothing happened....
So I tried to restart the OEM but it failed to start.
emdb.nohup says:
12/01/04 15:49:33 Chyba při spuštění serveru ORMI -=MY_DB_SERVER=- na portu 5 521: Unrecognized Windows Sockets error: 0: JVM_Bind
On some forum I found that it may be due to some other app blocking port 1830 (though netstat didn´t show anything). OK, so I desided to restart the whole machine.
After startup, OEM was running but on the HOME tab it says:
Status Agent Unreachable
What could went wrong? There were NO oracle upgrades/patches/changes made in the last few weeks.....
It is standalone Oracle 11.2.0.1.0 running on Windows 2008 R2 server....
