after power failure getting ORA-01092: ORACLE instance terminated.

I have installed collaboration suite database on Red Hat Linux 4 platform. Every thing was working fine but after a power failure during the database shutdown, now when I try to start the datasbe I get the error ORA-01092: ORACLE instance terminated. Disconnection forced.
The database mounts correctly but doesn't open.
What should I do?
I havent't applied any backup procedure on the database.
Can it be recovered
