Advice on os for oracle db 11gR2 with 2GB RAM

Hello,

I want to install Oracle Database 11gR2 on my system.: CPU Dual-Core 2GHz and 2GB RAM.

I hava Windows 7 on it. (64-bit).

My question: is it worth installing it with only 2 GB RAM (it meets minimum requirments though). I want to be able to use sql developer to learn PL/SQL.

From your experience will it be "usable" or very slow.

If I put Oracle Linux 6 will it be faster?
