advantages and disadvantages of having Disaster Recovery site and Test Database on same environement

Hi Gurus,

Could you please share the advantages and disadvantages of having disaster recovery (Data Guard) database and Test database on the same server. We are using 11g R2 on 2 Node RAC using windows operating system. we are out of database licenses and my company wants to run Test database from secondary site (data guard) site.

Any help would be appreciated.
