Advanced Queuing

847909Mar 16 2011 — edited Mar 17 2011
Hi

I am new to Oracle and using Oracle XE 10.2 on windows

I have found several so called examples of creating/using Oracle Advanced Queuing but none of them are complete or maybe just aren't relevant to Oracle XE.

I am finding that the users or permissions are not included in the examples in order to run the various SQL statements successfully anc so some steps into the example a SQL statement fails with insufficient privileges or similar...

Has anyone got a step by step example of creating AQ on Oracle XE - preferably an XMLType message queue that includes things like which user to be logged in as before executing each SQL etc... and this is a vanilla install so if extra bits and pieces are needed then i'd need to know about them too.

thanks
adam
