I have installed 11.1.1.7 of OBIEE on 64 Bit Windows Server
My client is Win 7 64-Bit.
When I install the admin tool one of the last things it does is pop up the ODBC Data Source Administrator dialog. Under System DSN I can see the connections I created for the 11.1.1.6 tool. This looks to be the 32-bit ODBC administrator as the same values are visible if I run c:\Windows\System32\odbcad32.exe
However the 64-Bit version is located at C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe and this is the version that is initiated when I start the Admin tool and attempt to connect to a Datasource.
When I try to add an ODBC datasource into the 64-Bit ODBC admin tool it always fails with an error
"The setup routines for the Oracle BI Server 1 ODBC driver could not be loaded due to system error code 126: The specified module could not be found. (C:\Program File\32-Bit OBIEE Client\oraclebi\orahome\bifoundation\server\bin\NqsSetup.dll)."
This file is there but is a different case (nqssetup.dll)
Anyone got any ideas where I need to start looking?
Cheers
