ADF: Increasing size of af:inputText

Hi Everyone,

I am using Jdev 11G.
i have created panel group layout-horizontal and within that one output label and one input text item.
by default the row value is 1 for input text item. if i change it to 2 the size is too big.
i just want to increase slightly not much.
how can i achieve this???
i tried with the various Style properties but didnt work.

plz let me know how can i achieve this.
