ADF Faces Table: how to group by rows?

Anatolii.Feb 5 2010 — edited Jan 20 2012
Hello.

I use Oracle JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0 and Oracle ADF.

I need to create ADF Faces table in which user could group rows by values from any columns he want.

Example:

User have this table (in his interface):

User Department Item Sum
User1 Dept1 Item1 100
User1 Dept1 Item2 150
User1 Dept2 Item1 50
User2 Dept1 Item2 50
User3 Dept1 Item1 40

I want user could make that:

group by User:

Department Item Sum
User1
..- Dept1 Item1 100
..- Dept1 Item2 150
..- Dept2 Item1 50
User2
..- Dept1 Item2 50
User3
..- Dept1 Item1 40

or group by User and Department:

.......Item Sum
User1
..- Dept1
....-- Item1 100
....-- Item2 150
..- Dept2
....-- Item1 50
User2
..- Dept1
....-- Item2 50
User3
..- Dept1
....-- Item1 40

or group by Department and Items and so on.

Table may have more than 10000 rows.

Does anybody know any way to do it?
