ADF Application Module vs Data Source

Dear All,

Hope u r all fine. I am using jdev 12.2.1 and WLS 12.2.1. I need to know that for adf web application we use Application Module to set Pool settings but while creating Data Source on weblogic server. So my main questions are:

1. What is the difference between AM Pool setting and Data Source Pool setting.

2. When they are (AM, Data Source) came in action to support Application's activities.

3. Is Data Source connection pool settings needs to be changed or go with the defaults on WLS.

4. Either we create Data Source on WLS or just go with our application's Data Source.
