Address-entering program - want addresses to dump to text file
807598Aug 1 2006 — edited Aug 1 2006No surprise - I'm new. I took 2 years of programming at school and I haven't visited it for a while.
I'm working on a small program where I can input addresses and have them pasted - in a regular mailing address format - to a text file.
I've messed around with GUIs enough that, with sufficient practice, I figure I'll be able to get the addresses to show up correctly...
...but I have no idea how to have the information paste into a text file.
...any help? Where should I start? Is there a particular class I should look at? Again, it's been a while since I've programmed or used the java.sun.com reference API.
