Additional hardware compoents of a server if a RAC has to be installed

All,

The regular server comes in with a single network interface card (NIC). I know for RAC we have to order few extra components..I see the names/terminology as

- HBA ports, (single port card, dual port cards - how are the differences in HBA ports and cards..single and dual etc)
- Gigabit network ports (is this a separate component to be ordered while ordering a server)..what is this for?

- Dual port server adaptor - what is this for? Is is not bundled into a single server or a separate component to be orderded...
