adding or increasing size of redo logs

Hi,
I launched health Chack of TOAD on my Database and I had :
! "Checkpoint not complete" errors: 1744
! (consider adding or increasing size of redo logs to resolve this)
My question is how to
1- add a logfile ?
2-increase a logfile ?
