Adding new dimension to ASO plan type in PBCS

Miglani67Feb 13 2019 — edited Feb 15 2019

Hello,

I have a PBCS application including ASO and BSO plan types. For a business reason, we have a need to add a new dimension into our plan types. I load all my Actuals data coming from HFM into ASO plan type, and them move only part of it to BSO. Users only interact with BSO, using Forms, Business Rules etc. No user has direct link with ASO.

Now, for new requirement, I was able to add dimension successfully to BSO but for ASO, it asked me to clear data before restructuring. I did a Level 0 export using Calculation Manager and then cleared the ASO. After clearing ASO data, I was able to successfully add dimension into all my Plan Types. Now, the question is how can I import my ASO data back into the plan type. I tried below options, but no success:

  • Imported the file I exported, but error was "Data Value [0] Encountered Before All Dimensions Selected" - Obviously, because it doesn't have new dimension (Duh!)
  • Downloaded the lev0 file and modified the POV in file to include new dimension's stored member, but then the error message changed to:
"/u02/user_projects/instance0/tmp/<zipfolder_name>/<file name>.text (No such fie or directory)"

Is there anything else i can try before going to option of loading all historical data again from true source using Data Load Rule?

Thanks in advance!
