Adding MS Excel datasource in WSADv5.1

I have written a java program that communicates with excel spreadsheet using jdbc:odbc datasource. While it works in my local drive, i am facing problem to run it in WSAD. I dont know where to configure MS EXCEL datasource in WSAD.

Is there any other means to access excel spreadsheet.

please help.
