Adding additional space to an existing asm disk group

Hi All,

I need to know the process for adding space to an existing asm disk group.

Actually ,we have a 3 TB asm disk group DATA. This has reached it threshold value.

So we are adding another 1 TB of space to it.

Now, i want to know the complete process that i should use to include this additional space into the DATA disk group.

Also , after addition is there any post steps required.
