Added disk space does not reflect on ASM

Hi Experts,

We are using IBM AIX 5.3L OS on IBM Servers,
Oracle Database EE 10G 10.1.0.4.0 ,
Oracle Applications Server 10G EE 10.1.2.0.2. ,
RAC and ASM

My hardware vendor added a 10 GB more space on SAN in filesystem +ARCH which is location for archiving.
But when I see this space by login ASM instance as sysdba

select * from v$asm_diskgroup;

Then added space does not reflect here ;

I m new to ASM . Plz suggest what else need to do at oracle level so that the space may be used for oracle instance.
