Add Buttons to the Interactive grid on the same line as the search bar and built in buttons

Hi All,

Apex 5.1

I'm migrating a Tabular Form to the Interactive Grid. I have an extra couple of buttons that are used for the form processing. Is there any way to add these buttons to the interactive grid next to the built on ones. If I put them outside in any of the chosen positions, it looks very clunky and odd.
