Currently there is misleadingly named --> link ALL_PROCEDURES view (got this statement from Study Guide for the OCP PL/SQL by author M. Morris that I am studying from) and it got me thinking...."Why doesn't Oracle just split out the data from that view and create another one for FUNCTIONS?"
That would be a simple enough addition since I went to go search for intuitively, yet doesn't exist. Instead all functions and procedures are in the "ALL_PROCEDURES" view. Which as the author stated, is misleading.
So I suggest creating a new view ALL_FUNCTIONS to be added to the Oracle data dictionary.
