Adaptive Authentication Service

Hi Experts,

Does anyone has hands-on experience or worked on Adaptive Authentication Service (a new feature in OAM 11gR2 PS3)?

I have a critical client requirement to use Oracle Adaptive Authentication Service to leverage Strong Multi-factor Authentication. I followed this link - https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E52734_01/oam/AIAAG/adaptive_auth_intro.htm#AIAAG90033 , but i couldn't able to get it working. I didn't understand the use of UMS (whether we require it or not).

I have to send a mail to the user with OTP using Adaptive Authentication Plugin (no OAAM is required for this).

Please any pointers/reference material/suggestions will be really helpful
