Active Open Cursors per Session

202099Aug 17 2007 — edited Aug 20 2007
I would like a query that shows the sql_text for the cursors for a session that are actually open cursors that currently count against my open_cursors parameter.

v$open_cursors shows all cursors my session has opened, along with the sql_text for each. But not all count against my open_cursors limit.

v$sesstat shows how many cursors currently count against my session's open_cursors limit. (statistics#=3).

It would be nice if v$open_cursors actually showed me which (sql_id) are still counting against my open_cursors limit shown from v$sesstat and which have "expired".

I'm sure there's some join I could do to another v$ view but I haven't come up with one yet.
