Accessing UCM content- JCR

Hi all,
i want to access the content from UCM and i think i need to use the JCR API for the same.
but i dont have any idea how to use JCR API to access the content from UCM.
if anybody using the JCR api please share me the doc wchich will explain how to use JCR api's

i need to access the content based on metadata like contentId of the file.
