Accessing MS SQL SERVER from apex

Hello, we are using Oracle database also many Microsoft SQL Servers. Somehow I need to be able to access some of data from SQL Server databases. I know Oracle has Transparent Gateway for Microsoft SQL Server but it intended for Oracle DBA to do the installation. Would it be any other way that Oracle Application Express app could access MS SQL Server? Keeping in mind that our APEX is Authenticate to our Oracle Database.
