Access to UCM accounts

815950Nov 21 2011 — edited Dec 12 2011
Hi Everyone!!

We are on UCM 10gR3 which is deployed on IIS. Their are two group by default Public and asecure. We have created some account...
e.g Account1, Account1/Sub1, Account1/Sub2...Account2, Account2/sub1, Account2/Sub2.....

Active Directory security is enable...and we have provided Account1 as a default account to the users..as of now we are not using filtering of role and account based on AD group....infact we have not created any group in AD ( for roel or account)...

Now, users have no issue while accessing the documents checked under Account1 ( as users have default access to this account...). User are not able to access documents in Account2, which is true as they dont have access to this account, however they have the read accoess to the the group.

My Q is: how can i grant them access to Account2, One approach is to enable filtiring ( and by creating group in AD)..is thier any other way i.e from UCM front end..please note i dont want to change user from external to local or global..

Awaiting your help on this!!
