Access migration - 'autonumber' trigger fails on empty tables

Hi,

I'm new to Oracle and this is my first post on this forum.

I'm working on migrating an Access database to Oracle for a client.
For this project we just need to migrate the data and tables to Oracle.
Access will still be used as a front end.

I've used 'SQL Developer' to migrate the tables and have had some success linking the migrated tables to Access.
However I am finding that triggers that are used to replace the Access autonumber functionality throw an error if the tables are empty.

Can anyone suggest a solution to this problem?
