access log retention

Hello,

Is there a way to store a longer retention for access logs in APEX, or do I need to come up with a custom solution such as a trigger. For example, apex_workspace_access_log only has 2 weeks of history in it. I would like to keep a year or so. Is the history stored anywhere else as well, or is the 2 weeks of history all I have access to.
