Access iLOM from Linux host OS?

807557Sep 16 2009 — edited Sep 16 2010
Hello,

I have a number of X4100/X4200 machines that are running Linux host OSes. I was wondering whether there's any way to access the iLOM (2.x) SP through the host OS, somewhat like HP's hponcfg or hpasmcli for their iLO?

Specifically, we're starting to use a custom-rolled hardware inventory script, and need to determine the IP address (or at least MAC) of the iLOM interface from within the host OS. I tried ipmitool, but found nothing.

(If any Sun guys happen to stop by here - this is cake with HP Proliant hardware, seems like something good for Sun to implement).

Thanks,
Jason Antman
