Access Denied error for Section in the Dashboard

Hello Guru's ,

Can anyone pls help me with below situation.

We upgraded from 10.3.4.1 to 11.1.6 . All the components upgraded smoothly but some of the sections with a dashboard prompt have become inaccessible by giving message "Access Denied" . It is happening only for some sections on the dashboard pages , I can manually go , remove that section and can add one from catalog which will fix it but I have many dashboard pages which has to be fixed . Strange thing is same section with same prompt is working fine in some pages . Is there any workaround for this . Pls let me know.
