Access Denied. Check "Access SOAP" privilege

832860Mar 7 2012 — edited Mar 8 2012
Hi all,

Somehow I messed up the catalog permissions after I copied files from catalog a to catalog b using the Catalog Manager.

Now when I try to open catalog b using the Catalog Manager, I get the following error message:

Unknown connection error: Access denied. Check "Access SOAP" privilege.

I remember seeing this before when I logged in as an user that has Administrator rights -> Setting -> Administration, and in the Presentation Services Administration -> Manage Privileges. But after copying /system files from catalog a to catalog b, as the same user, I no longer see the link Setting -> Administration.

Does anyone know how I might be able to fix this so that I can at least get back the Setting -> Administration link so I can go in and fix the SOAP settings? Or do I have to pretty much just wipe out the current catalog b and just copy over the entire catalog a?

Thank you for your help.
