Access Denied/Catastrophic failure

Hi

I am new to Hyperion DRM. Just installed v11.1.1.

I tried creating a new connection and the value for Http Server url was - http://localhost/mdm_ntier/

It says "Unable to Connect to the URL, plz check and try again"

Later i gave the same URL using IE..It says Oracle fusion edition Web Publishing..but it gave a blank page.
and the error was " Tried to Call method ListProperties with these parameters [] . The server responded with "Access Denied"

Any idea as to why so? or how to correct this?

I logged into Web Publishing Console... tab-->Web Server..Under MDM Gateway it says Access Denied.

Can anyone help me in resolving this issue?
