Accented letters replaced by strange characters

J.colNov 6 2018 — edited Nov 7 2018

Hello everyone.

When I do an @filename of a file (saved and created with notepad++) with accented letters, they are replaced by strange characters.

If I do a copy/paste of the statements inside the file, there is no issue.

Example : an "é" is replaced by "é"

I checked my regedit and I found 2 distinct nls_lang populated (but a lot of entries)

FRENCH_FRANCE.WE8MSWIN1252

FRENCH_FRANCE.WE8ISO8859P1

My database parameters (12cR1) are the following :

NLS_CHARACTERSET    WE8MSWIN1252

NLS_TERRITORY    FRANCE

NLS_LANGUAGE    FRENCH

What can I do to fix this please ?

If you need more information I can provide them

Thanks.
