We would like to request the ability to introduce an additional Crew Status within NMS to align with a custom Event Status we have implemented called Standby. Once a crew arrives onsite, there are operational scenarios—such as securing the area or waiting for additional crews—where transitioning into a Standby state is operationally appropriate.
This Standby state existed in earlier versions of NMS (e.g., version 1.7), but it was removed in subsequent releases. Although we have successfully added the corresponding Event Status, there is currently no associated Crew Status available. As a result, crews continue to display as Onsite, even when they are effectively in a Standby condition.
We are seeking the capability to:
- Add a new Standby Crew Status, and
- Configure its visual attributes (including colour) to match our custom Event Status.
We also explored the possibility of leveraging the Make Safe functionality; however, we have been informed that this capability exists only in the demo version of NMS and is not available in the production product.
