Oracle Database Discussions

Hi,

I have a question about using OTN download- suppose if there is a project where the team is developing an application. Can the oracle downloaded from OTN be used to develop the product - for development purpose only if the product may not be used in production or for internal data processing purpose. Before the management decides to put it in production they will purchase the licence but , till then for development and qa purpose, can the enterprise edition be downloaded from OTN website and used?

the OTN licence has this term among other:
+"You may not:+

+- use the programs for your own internal data processing or for any commercial or production purposes, or use the programs for any purpose except the development of your application;"+

I am not sure whether the team needs to produce the licence right away or it can also first do the development and qa and once the app gets ready for production, then at that time (assuming the project is a success) purchase the software.

will be thankful for any suggestions on this.
