9i RAC give poor performance compare to single instance database on OpenVMS

Hello Dear Friends,

I have successfully installed Oracle 9.2.0.2 RAC(only two instance and two nodes) in HP Alpha OpenVMS 8.2. I'm getting poor performance if two nodes startup compare to only one node startup.

when working on single instance it give me[b] fast response and low cpu utility than working on two instance.

For example, I tested a trigger when insert a table, if only one instance startup, the executive time is about 48s(two much calculation), but if both two instances startup, the time is 89s. why? I can't undestand. In my opinion, I think RAC performance should be much better than single instance, maybe some oracle rac setting or configuration of problems?

so can anybody help me finding out problems of my rac?
