7410 2009.Q3.2.0 IP Multipathing

I may be missing something but it looks like you can't assign an iSCSI target to multiple interfaces (IP addresses). And, at least in the case of Linux dm_multipath you need the target to be discoverable on multiple interfaces to achieve multipath functionality.

Here's a link to the OpenSolaris COMSTAR wiki that shows how easy it is to assign a target to multiple IP addresses:

It's hard to believe that this basic functionality is missing from the 2009.Q3.2.0 release.

I looked at the IP MultiPathing (IPMP) functionality but that appears to offer HSRP/VRRP like functionality, IP address failover in the event of a link failure, but doesn't offer anything that would provide for iSCSI mutipath (load balancing and resilience) support.

If anyone knows of a workaround I'd really appreciate it.
