6180 storage battery replacement

Hi Experts,

I have a simple question.

On 6180 controller ,A battery has been failed. and B battery nearing expiration date(24 day remaining).

At this moment we have IO performance problem. Now we are waiting the new batteries shipment.

As shown on service Advisor, I will offline the controller and will proceed the battery replacement.

Question: If I change the volumes owning controller from A to B , would it affect to IO interrupt,

I have a trouble data loss. OR I should stop the services?

What can you recommend?
