The standard 4-5-4 retail accounting calendar results in a 53rd week every 5-6 years. My client wants to view this 53rd week data separate from the last period in the year for analytical and comparative purposes.

Rather than creating a 13th period in HFM which complicates reporting in years where this doesn't occur, what are the other options for handling this "extra" period? Our initial thought is a separate scenario, but then users would have to remember to pull both "Actuals" and "53rd Week Actuals" to view the full year.

Any ideas?
