The select/copy/paste freeze problem is still present in 4.0.1 (package body size about 4000 lines). It seems the CPU percentage SQL developer takes during the freeze has gone down from 100% to max 50% compared to the previous release? This makes the freezes twice as long it seems. Breadcrumbs disabled doesnt fix it, also closing Quick outline view doesnt fix it, completion insight disabled doesnt fix it. Problem only present if editing a modified file.
I also noticed the problem only seems to occur if using ctrl-c/ctrl-v keyboard shortcuts, using the right-click menu copy/paste seems to work fine. Perhaps it's the 'Goto declaration' functionality at fault here?
Although I like version 4 this problem is forcing me to use SQL developer 3.
