20.2 - Login Page item alignment is off, bug or feature?

After recent upgrade to Apex 20.2 all our login pages are not aligning the "username" and "password" items correctly.
login alignment.png This seems to be related to "region image" defined on this page.
image attributes.png This works perfectly fine in 20.1.
This region uses the default "Login" template. I tried to adjust the size of the items but they are not responding to the width changes.
Is it a bug?
