2.1 EA1 - Auto-complete less responsive
_Dylan_Oct 6 2009 — edited Nov 5 2009I've noticed that when typing select statements with 2.1, that the auto-complete popup is less responsive as compared to previous releases. Even with something like:
select * from s
...will sometimes give me a list of tables/users begining with s...needing the shortcut key to display results. And rather than zeroing in on potential results as I continue to type, the auto complete window goes away.
select * from sy
produces no popup, but still shows popup with ctrl-space. Once I get the full owner and period in there, it the auto complete window will come up again (sometimes only with aid of shortcut key again)...
select * from sys.
Rather than narrow down on views as I type, the results go away....even with the shortcut key
select * from sys.d
gives me no popup and none with the shortcut key. Prior versions I'd at least get (dual, dba_views, etc), and it would almost continually narrow down results as I typed.
