(18c) Oracle RAC GNS configuration: PRVG-5821 (subzone privilege delegation)

Hi All,

I am using the same DNS configuration for 12.2 and it is no longer working with 18c. I got the following error:

Is it the new security enhancement added to 18c? Where do we specify the privilege delegation? (given I have none in my lab environment)

environment:

OEL 7.5 x64 (min install + 18c pre-install rpm)

Grid Software 18c

Network setup

database server: bedorcl.pojencrossing.localdomain, 192.168.2.70 (configured as domain cluster)

dns server: netsrv.pojencrossing.localdomain, 192.168.2.60

dns-glue record: gns.pojencrossing.localdomain, 192.168.2.61
