18.1 Gantt chart custom tooltip not working

I'm using 18.1 Jet Gantt chart, and I can't seem to get the custom tooltip (under the chart attributes) to work. No matter what I put in there, the normal tooltip comes up. Can someone give me an example of how that works? I'd like to put different data from my tasks query into the tooltip, but I don't see where or how to do it.
