12cR3, Report Configuration

Hi All,

Installed FMW - V12.2.1.3.0. at my Linux System - cat /etc/centos-release. JDK-1.8_172

-My report Server is - REPDev01MSR

-Created reporttoolInstance - reptools1

-Created reportserverInstance - Dev01RS

Before doing anything here is the ./rwdiag -findall detail

Channel address = 228.5.6.7

Channel port = 14021

(1) Name = rep_repdev01msr_dev01 : Type = server : Host = dev01.secl.net

I have to modify three config files,

a. rwservlet.properties

b. reserver.conf

c.rwnetwork.conf

Q -1 : currently my rwservlet.properties files having following

<server>rep_repdev01msr_dev01</server> entry ,

do i need to change into <server>Dev01Rs</server> to point newly created report server instance or how it will be?

Q-2 : In the environment, wherever I found these (rserver.conf and rwnetwork.conf) files, are they need changes.

I am going to follow the order of report server start like bellow

i. namingservice 14021

ii. Report server start - REPDev01MSR

iii. report server instance start - Dev01RS.

Q-3 : is it correct order or how it will be?

Please clarify.
