12c grid control install fails during root.sh script execution

2016/09/24 00:36:40 CLSRSC-152: Could not set ownership on '/u04'

2016/09/24 00:36:40 CLSRSC-26: The file system of '/u04/ocr' is invalid

The command '/u01/app/12.1.0.2/grid/perl/bin/perl -I/u01/app/12.1.0.2/grid/perl/lib -I/u01/app/12.1.0.2/grid/crs/install /u01/app/12.1.0.2/grid/crs/install/rootcrs.pl ' execution failed

Configuration:

OS: OEL7.2

Storage: Oracle ZS3-2 ZFS applicance NFS mount point for ocr & vote disks

Any ideas on what is causing this error?
