11gr2 RAC Grid home resides in shared or local stroage?

Just quick check, In 10g the rac cluster home resides in localdrive and DB oracle home in shared drive. Understood from 11gr2 onwards RAC cluster(grid) home and db home resides in shared storage? pls confirm.
