11g non-asm to ASM

I am under process of moving database file to 11g ASM, while i am trying to convert controlfile, i am getting below error.


DB: 11gR2
OS:OEL4.5

RMAN> restore controlfile from '/data/oracle/db/proddata/cntrl01.dbf';
