11.2.0.2.2 GI Patch Set Update - case for grid home but no RAC or ACFS?

I am getting ready to apply the April 2011 PSU. April 2011 PSU patch #11724916 referred me to the Grid Infrastructure (GI) version (patch #12311357) because my instance has a grid home. However, I've found the instructions for the GI patch #12311357 confusing.

My host has one ASM instance (and thus a grid home) and several database instances that use ASM. No RAC here or ACFS (unless that's something used by default with ASM at 11g R2). Which case should I choose in section 2.4 Patch Installation? Case options are as follows per the patch documentation. Which should I choose for my configuration as described above? I don't see anything that jumps out at me.

Case 1: Patching Oracle RAC Database Homes and the GI Home Together
Case 2: Patching Oracle RAC Database Homes
Case 3: Patching GI Home Alone
Case 4: Patching Oracle Restart Home
Case 5: Patching a Software Only GI Home Installation
Case 6: Patching a Software Only Oracle RAC Home Installation
