11.1.2.2 FR Native User cannot change pwd in Workspace

I have a EPM 11.1.2.2 environment with Essbase, Planning and FR. I created a few native users that belong to read only groups however on workspace, when they navigate to File->Preferences->Authentication the option to change password is greyed out. In shared services however this can be done.

Is there anything to be enabled from the admin side for this to take place. I remember this was possible in 11.1.1.3
